I recently enjoyed a short city trip at Hotel Real in Plovdiv, and it truly exceeded my expectations! Although it holds a 3-star rating, I felt like I was staying in a delightful 4-star retreat. The central location made it incredibly convenient, just a 10-minute stroll from the charming old town and amidst buzzing bars and cafes. The rooms were impressively spacious, equipped with all the essentials, including a cozy seating area-perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. One highlight was the friendly staff; they were genuinely welcoming and eager to assist, which made all the difference. The restaurant offered a delightful menu featuring both local delicacies and international dishes, and the breakfast was fresh and prepared upon request. While I enjoyed my stay immensely, I did notice the WiFi could be spotty in my room-perhaps a minor hiccup for such a well-located hotel. Nevertheless, for those traveling on business or leisure with family, this hotel strikes a wonderful balance of comfort and convenience at an appealing price point. I'll certainly keep it on my go-to list when visiting Plovdiv again!
